Private Harbor, Endless Water

The water begins here, quietly and without effort. Set in the protected waters of Sarasota Bay, Bird Key offers direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway, Longboat Pass, and the open Gulf beyond. It is both a starting point and a return, equally suited for a spontaneous afternoon or a longer escape.

Every detail supports ease. You arrive, you step aboard, and the day naturally unfolds. By evening, you return to a skyline that glows just a little differently each time.

A Marina For Members

The marina includes 42 slips for vessels from 28’ to 52’, lifts for 28’ boats, and full dockside services including pump-out, electricity, and water. There are guest docks for visiting vessels. Members can store kayaks on the property and launch right from our kayak lift. Every detail is in place, including access to the Club’s sailboat, so your time on the water remains your own.

A Full Coastal Calendar

Life on the water here naturally becomes shared. Day cruises lead to new adventures. Sunday Sails become familiar rituals. Afternoons on the Bay transition easily into evenings back at the Club, where stories are revisited, and plans quietly take shape again. The calendar includes fishing excursions, kayaking trips, regatta weekends, and spontaneous outings that require little more than a willingness to go. It is active without feeling busy. It is structured without feeling scheduled.

Sailing & Celebrating

Each spring, the Sarasota Bay Cup Regatta returns as one of the Club’s most anticipated traditions. Sailboats scatter across the Bay, the races unfolding against a backdrop that feels both competitive and celebratory. The energy builds throughout the day, peaking with an afternoon of celebration that carries well into the evening.
